Why Jamie
Built by someone who runs an activity business.
Work directly with Jamie, from discovery to launch.
Jamie Fagan built and operates Urban Motion — an organisation delivering programmes to children and young people across multiple locations. He has lived the operational pressure of growth, and when generic software stopped fitting, he built his own system rather than change his business. OWND is that experience, offered to other founders.
“I didn’t start OWND because I wanted to build software. I built my first system because I was tired of changing the way my business worked to suit somebody else’s platform.”

More about Jamie FaganThe problem
Your business has grown.Your software hasn’t grown with it.
Generic platforms are built for thousands of businesses at once. Yours isn’t one of thousands — it’s one business with its own customers, term structures, staff and way of working. The bigger it gets, the more the gaps show.
Your business shouldn’t have to change to fit your software. Your software should fit your business.

- Multiple disconnected platforms, each doing part of the job
- Repetitive administration that never gets any easier
- Workarounds and spreadsheets quietly holding it all together
- Features that don’t match how you actually operate
- Paying per user, per platform — for software you will never own
- Staff adapting to the software, instead of the other way around

Ownership, explained
Know what you own. Know what it costs to run.
Your proposal defines the deliverables, ownership arrangements and ongoing services before you commit.
Your bespoke system
Your build is designed around your workflows, branding and business data. The proposal sets out the code, account access, documentation and handover included in your project.
Running costs
Hosting and platform plans, your domain, payment processing, email, SMS and AI usage can carry ongoing charges. These are separate from the build price and are identified when your project is scoped.
Third-party services
Systems may use Base44 and other specialist services. Ownership of the bespoke work does not transfer ownership of those platforms or remove their licence terms and technical dependencies.
Future changes & handover
Source-code access, data exports and a handover to another developer are agreed in the project scope. Moving to a different platform may require further development; portability is not automatic.
Launch support and 60 days of post-launch mentorship are included. Ongoing maintenance, support and additional development are scoped separately. See the build and handover process.
Investment
Own the infrastructure behind your growth.
Every OWND build is scoped around the business — its size, complexity, integrations and what it needs to do. Your written proposal defines the deliverables and handover. Builds typically begin from £3,000.
Hosting or platform plans, payment processing, domains and usage-based services are additional where needed. The proposal explains recurring costs, any applicable taxes and optional ongoing support before you decide.
